Gasthaus zur Sonne in Rhodt unter Rietburg

Picked up food due to lockdown. The pork loin and the rump steak roasted perfectly to the point, side dishes also very tasty, the spaetzle also seem to be homemade. The trout was perfect, the skin was still crispy (although it was picked up), great taste, and the potatoes with it were also very tasty.

Butter tender rump steak, perfectly prepared, good regional wine selection and pleasant, friendly service. Priced for the quality offered rather cheap.

The decor is quite simple but completely ok. The food (side salad, rump steak with onions and potato galette, creme brulee) was good to very good. The service a bit slow but competent and friendly.

Very funny and courteous innkeeper. Have despite short time before closing time still eaten warm ... And it was very delicious. Will definitely be back.
